Lapp introduces a NEW split hood which allows multiple cables to pass through three or four openings in a single hood.

EPIC®'s new split hoods provide a convenient way to pass finished cable assemblies through a connector housing into a panel without having to reterminate the assembly. A maximum of 4 cables ranging in size from 3mm to 16 mm may pass through a single hood. These new hoods mate with the standard EPIC® HBE 16 or 24 double lever panel mount bases. UL Approved thermoplastic rubber split grommets are available in a range of sizes. These grommets seal around the cables and provide IP 54 protection as well as strain relief in the mated and assembled position. The HBSH 16 Housing is capable of accommodating 3 glands while the HBSH 24 Housing can accommodate 4 glands.
