Lapp Introduces Color-Coded, Multiconductor Flexible Signal & Control Cable
UNITRONIC® 190

Lapp has expanded the range of its UNITRONIC® 190/190 Y signal and control cables, to accommodate up to 28 AWG. The expansion makes the cables ideal for use with computers, data transmission, office equipment, process control, and instrumentation.

The cable features include: 2 to 61 conductors, 300 V working voltage, and -10°C to + 105°C temperature range for both flexible use and stationary applications.

Constructed with finely stranded tinned copper conductors that range in size from 22 AWG to 28 AWG, UNITRONIC® 190/190 CY have a minimum bending radius of 10x cable diameter and feature SR-PVC insulation and a gray PVC jacket. The cables have been safety tested and approved by UL and CSA.

Two versions are available. The UNITRONIC® 190 is a standard unshielded type, while the UNITRONIC® 190 CY is a shielded version. The latter features an overall foil/tinned copper braid shield and is recommended for applications where electrical interference may distort signal transmission, or where EMI emissions need to be suppressed.
