Multiconductor Flexible Power Supply Cables Designed for Rugged Portable Applications

robot 900

The OLFLEX® - 590 series of heavy-duty, rugged, halogen free, flexible power supply cables - ideal for portable applications such as hand tools and appliances - has been introduced by Lapp.

The series features multiconductors, 600 V working voltage, and -50°C to + 80°C temperature range for both flexible use and stationary applications.

Constructed with finely stranded tinned copper conductors that range in size from 18 AWG to 10 AWG, OLFLEX® 590 has a minimum bending radius of 10 x cable diameter. The TPE insulation and rugged, abrasion-resistant polyurethane jacket allow this cable to be used both indoors and outdoors in wet, dry, and extremely cold conditions. The cable is flame retardant and is colored safety yellow. It has been safety tested and approved by UL and CSA. The company also offers the OLFLEX® 590, a standard unshielded type. For applications in which electrical interference or EMI emissions may be present, Lapp offers the OLFLEX® 590CP. This cable is constructed with tinned copper braid to ensure high performance in such applications.

As part of the worldwide Lapp Group, Lapp Group NA offers a complete one-stop automation solution for cable and connector needs. Lapp has the broadest range of products, including OLFLEX®, UNITRONIC®, and SILFLEX® flexible and continuous-flex cables, SILVYN® cable track and accessories, EPIC® rectangular, circular, and Pin & Sleeve Connectors, SKINTOP® strain relief cable glands, FLEXIMARK® Cable Marking Systems, remote access ports, and custom harness assemblies.
